On Saturday, April 15th will be the 2nd Annual Easter Egg Hunt at Shoreline Lake. The Easter Bunny will be the star of the event and there will also be an Egg Decorating Extravaganza for those that want to get creative.
The Easter Egg Hunt was so popular last year, that there will be two different hunts this year, one at a 9:00 am and the second at noon. Lots of other, Easter related activities will take place from 9:30am-1pm. Like last year's Egg Extravaganza, this event is a unique opportunity for kids and adults to enjoy a plethora of outdoor Easter activities by the water, in a spectacular nature preserve, in the heart of Silicon Valley.
It will be $5 per child for the Easter Egg Hunt only, or $10 per child for the Hunt plus all of the other activities. Along with the Easter Bunny making an appearance, kids of all ages can show off their artistry via the Egg Dyeing stations and assorted craft-making activities, and enjoy fun lawn games involving an Egg Roll and ‘Eggs and Spoons.’
Families can also register online to reserve their child's spot and the activity pass via the April section of Shoreline's Upcoming events page: https://shorelinelake.com/upcoming.html
All of the festivities will have a beautiful view of the Lake and will be held between the Boathouse and American Bistro -- where "non-Egg Hunters" can also partake in Brunch, pre-prepared picnic baskets, and other refreshments. It’s going to be very busy, so please make reservations! Those prepared picnic baskets are great! Or you could always pack your own basket at home.
The usual water sports activities (wind surfing, kayaking, sailing) will also be happening during the Easter Egg Extravaganza. This will be the perfect opportunity to take photos, meet other families in our community, and make memories while enjoying this beautiful celebration of Spring and the diversity of Mountain View. Happy Easter!
