Paul Martin’s American Grill opened this week. I went to the soft-opening on Friday. The food was outstanding. I ordered a Castroville Artichoke as an appetizer, the Cedar Plank Salmon as my entree, a Meyer Lemon Drop martini or two, and Devils Food Cake for dessert. Of course, I also tried a bite or two from the other plates at my table. All of us kept saying over and over how much we enjoyed our meals.
Our waiter was charming. We ordered lots of drinks and took almost 3 hours to finish our meal. I now have the honor of saying that we were the last customers to leave on their first day of business.
I’m really happy about this new restaurant and I know I’ll be back often. Yes, we have so many different kinds of food to choose from in Mountain View that we’re probably a little spoiled. But we didn’t have anything like Paul Martin’s and I can see that they’ll fit in quite well. Paul Martin’s is a traditional, old-fashioned steak house that makes everything from scratch and only uses the highest quality ingredients. I'm sure that residents of Carmel The Village and The Crossings are pleased to have a nice place just a few steps from home.
I’m looking forward to Happy Hour and sitting on the outdoor patio that faces the dog park and seeing how their menu changes with the seasons. Paul Martin’s American Grill welcome to Mountain View. We’re pleased to meet you!
