I love the selection of drinks at 1 Oz and the almond croissant goes great with anything! I also like that I can pick up fresh-roasted beans while I'm there

Amarin Thai - we have a lot of Thai in town but this is my favorite

I'm from New York and it's pretty hard to find really good New York Pizza in the Bay Area, but Amici's does it right.

Asian Box - They have delicious meals, their employees are always friendly, we appreciate that they have Kids Eat Free Days, and they give back to the community!

At Ava's Downtown Market & Deli, the staff are always kind and helpful. They have a great selection of local goods, and have a variety of healthy snacks.

I love that Bailey Salon moved to my neighborhood. The staff keep my family groomed and looking good.

When my family craves pizza, we go to Blue Line!

Bushido - The most delicious vegetarian ramen!

I always stop at Books Inc, explore their book selections, grab a book that looks interesting, pick out a corner out and start perusing the pages. I also love the california cards and trinkets.

Chez TJ - It is simply the best dining experience in Mountain View and the surrounding community!

Cognition takes care of all our bike needs, provides excellent service, and they also support local free speech and are super cool people.

Cascal - Love tapas food and music. Paella! And the best Pisco Sour I ever tried and I'm Peruvian so It feels like home.

There's only so many ways you can describe a good prawn, and thanks to Crawfish Bros, there's now a place in Mountain View to do just that

CREPEVINE The breakfast plates are amazing and the ice cream with crepes are to die for! Every time family comes to visit we go and have an amazing dinner ordering everything from the menu

Don's Deli - Sandwiches are amazing - delicious and incredibly filling. The staff are super nice and helpful. It’s my go-to choice for lunch when I want something yummy, fast, and easy.

Don Giovanni - The food is incredible and the service is of the highest quality

Doppio Zero - Fell in love with this pizza place and they make a good drink too. Consistency with their great food and service. Great atmosphere too!

East West Books - Very unique and high quality gifts. Nice book selections. Great free lecture. And a place for meditation!

Eng's Zongzi - Great to get authentic zongzi (aka Chinese tamales) and dumplings at reasonable prices.

Ephesus - My favorite Mediterranean place on Castro! I almost always start with the Greek fries and baba ghanoush. But there is something here for everyone!

Eureka! I've always enjoyed their delicious food and drinks. They were the first place we ever dined in Mountain View before moving here. I hope their ginger lime mimosas return soon ;)

Farmers' Market - I love it because it is year-round with a large variety of vendors. The vendors have become friends that I look forward to seeing on Sundays.

Fiesta Del Mar - Great family run business with delicious food. I love going into an establishment where the people know me and are genuinely happy to see me.

Not only do they have great customer service and a collection of excellent flavors, Gelato Classico has been my go to favorite treat when walking downtown Mountain View.

Giants Liquors - It’s a cozy little store with wonderful, helpful owners and a great selection of constantly rotating beers and ciders. We love it!

I am a BIG fan of Sushi - the Salmon Sushi was the best. Generous Portions and Beyond Tasty. Next time I visit Mountain View Gochi will be top priority on my list.

Kappo Nami Nami - The food is consistently top notch and the staff is so kind and friendly. This is a must go to Japanese restaurant - feel like I hit a gold mine.

Kirin - Good Chinese food in relaxed restaurant. Love their poached chicken!

Le Petit Bistro is what you would call "our place" - kind of like our Cheers. It is a traditional French bistro with excellent food and a cozy and not stuffy atmosphere

I have died and gone to heaven and it's called Los Portales... or maybe hell because it's so good, it almost tortures me to think about the food here and know I can't eat it everyday

Maison Alyzee takes me back to my childhood. A simple baguette tartine or the scrambled eggs is the perfect breakfast with a cappuccino or the Lavender Latte.

Maldonado's - They are the best pizza place in Mountain View and by far my favorite anywhere. Their service is superior to anything in the City and the quality of the food is great.

Midwife & The Baker - My favorite bakery in the Bay! Everything they make is amazing, but my favorite is the seeded loaf.

Mountain View Tea Village - Best loose tea you can find in entire Bay Area. Lychee or Mango Oolongs are fantastic. And I highly recommend the jasmine pearls.

New Mongolian BBQ - We love the selection and ability to create your own meal and watch it be cooked. We've always found the service to be very gracious and efficient and love to see familiar faces

New York Pizza - pizza is great, sandwiches are great, salads are AMAZING!

Oren’s has the best hummus and many other great dishes to choose from! Great atmosphere, great service and good food!

PANDA EXPRESS - as the name says, it's fast food so a great quick stop. Plus THEY HAVE MILK TEA!

Paul Martin's - they have a wonderful service staff, their food is to die for, and their restaurant is very clean. Love the choices available!

Ramen Izakaya Yu-gen has the best tonkatsu ramen I've eaten outside of Japan.

Red Rock is a great little coffee shop with excellent coffee and a wonderful gathering spot for the community with all of their events and local art.

Rumblefish has a fun and delicious menu. It has always been my favorite place to have meetings and the service is responsive and flexible to customer needs.

Samovar - Good European products, and excellent for catering

The Sandwich Spot - They make the best sandwiches, just how I want them!

Sitting outside on Savvy Cellar's patio with a glass of wine is the perfect way to spend a weekend afternoon. Their selection of wines is outstanding, with a huge and eclectic variety to choose from.

Shana Thai - Delicious food and friendly service. This is my go to lunch spot when I'm craving some Curry or Pad Thai.

Shoreline Amphitheatre - great place to catch some rays, views of the bay, and of course amazing music!

Sousa's Wine & Liquors - Great mini Brazilian and Portuguese grocery store so that I can keep on cooking the Brazilian food I love! Good beer selection too!

St Stephen's Green - Friendly atmosphere for socializing and great food and drinks, but mostly the staff is amazing.

Sushi Tomi is wonderful all around! The fish here is fresh and the rice is solid.

Therapy Stores - They have an amazing selection of unique goods and the staff is always WONDERFUL! Every time I go in, I feel like I'm shopping with a friend.

Trader Joe's - always great selection and prices

Vive Sol has been a favorite for 20 years! Delicious, authentic, Mexican food

I love that Yakko Sushi has the quality of the food and the cozy feeling of a traditional family run Japanese restaurant.

I love spicy food and Zareen's has very good spicy food. For a treat, try the Michelin Guide recommended chicken samosas
