Years ago I wrote an article here that I called Dive Bar Tour. I was always concerned that some of the fine establishments mentioned might be offended that I called them a “dive bar,” even though thousands of people read that post. Well here’s the 2020 version and I feel much better about referring to all of them as “watering holes.”
